Although heartbreaking, this is one of my favourite scenes from the wonderful 1994 version of Little Women with Winona Ryder and Christian Bale where Laurie proposes marriage to Jo, enjoy =) This movie belongs to Columbia Tristar and I no copyright infringement is intended.
*Carole Lombard in Twentieth Century*

A montage of Carole Lombard and actor John Barrymore and their tumultuous quirky relationship in 'Twentieth Century' to the tune of "When You're Gone" By the Cranberries:) A Great Classic! Note: I am not attempting copyright infringement in this video, it is for pure entertainment purposes only.
Vivien Leigh: A Life Remembered

UPDATE: This video was recently tagged as violating/using the Rolling Stones song without their permission. SO, I kept the video online, but I had to change the song. The new music is now Debussy's Arabesque No. 1 :) I hope the video maintains the graceful heir of Vivien Leigh herself, and sorry Rolling Stones is no longer the music -Sarah
Im glad it was someone like gabriel byrne who was the man she wanted to be with and not your usual pretty boy
"I have nothing to give you! My hands are empty!", says the man who just basically gave her the writer wings that had been giving her growing pains for years AND can give her mind and heart companionship and understanding the likes of which she has been longing for her whole life... Nah, you're right, you have nothing to give her. Walk along, buddy... ;)
the one problem with this relationship is he's about 40, she's in her early 20s. once she turns 30, she may see the world differently and want out of the relationship. if she were 30 when he was 40, it would have better odds of working out
Love this story and the adaptations of Little Women. 1994 is one of my favorite adaptations
Gabrel Byrne was,the best, playing the,Professor in this Film,"Little Women".❤
Definitely an example of a perfect movie ending 👍
Loved this version
Best scene of the movie!
Gabriel Byrne was my childhood crush! ❤ omg!
Just realized, he had read her book, so he knew about Laurie and that he had once proposed to Jo. It wasn’t a far jump to really believe she might have married him to seek solace after her sister died
Why didn't they turn Plumfield into a female school. Instead we get part two on a farm with boys
My favorite movie as well. I never get tired of watching this 😊😊
love this movie
I love this movie. It is beyond beautiful!
Until now Winona not married haha
❤❤❤
“it isn’t a field, it’s a house.” 😂 i love Winona’s Jo.
She really chose this guy over Christian 😭
Onlarla da aynısı...SİZİN KONUŞMANIZA İZİN VERMEM!! SALAK!!!!!
Wonderful ending! Every girl should have her Professor Baer.
When Jo puts her hands into Frederich’s hands and says, “Not empty now,” she’s showing him that she loves him and when they kiss, you can really tell that they love each other💕
Why is he taking a ship to go to the west? Just copped that🤔
A school in the west offered him a job.
According to this, he's to catch a train to Boston and then a ship from there to the west. But I don't know why he'd take a ship, when east was connected to west via rail by 1869. "Little Women" takes place during the Civil War and thereafter. So assuming the book opens in the beginning of the war (1861) and continues for the 15 years of its timeframe, by the time Friedrich drops off her book, it's past 1869 and he could take the train to the west. If he takes a ship, he has to go around the tip of South America to get to the west (no Panama Canal until 1914) so it would be a very long unnecessary journey. Or at least that's how I see it. Makes no sense. Good catch.
that is weird, maybe he wants to sail the tip of South America?
❤️ this version, it’s a Christmas movie I watch multiple times every Christmas. They’ll never beat this version, it’s perfect.
once again i don't remember reading this book but i knew jo/laurie weren't meant to be!
AAAHHH i love this ending
And she kissed her Friedrich under the umbrella.
One of my favourite movies since childhood ❤ Love that scene ❤
WOW! I didn't know this scene, this is gorgeous, I love when he says my hands are empty and she replies not empty now...OMG I love it...if you love me as I love you my love, I will be the most blessed woman in the world...🥰❤💕😘
I love ❤️ 😍 this scene...to have somebody support your dream is so elaborating and when he realizes she's not married n she grabs his hand is so endearing to one's heart who has truly loved unconditionally.
Literally got groomed.

I believe the story ends in the year of 1868.
One day a girl dumped his boyfriend but the boyfriend is not stupid .he knew she would double cross him fir the monies .her family disband him as loser but at the end that great girl didn't know that he is the real builder if the usa shuttle .and f22 .done have it and some dint but in the end dark people ok ften end in their own little musery been mean and miser to.litlle people .that will teach a lesson to dark people self concept of untouchable nonsense .
Best ending scenes ever! @ gives me joy
too artsy, too intellectual
Always hoped for them.
Hi Everyone This is onr of my Favorite Versions of the movir.
I sometimes think I watch this movie just to see this scene❤️
The best of all the Little Women films and include the latest
I love winona as jo ❤
I love that they refuse to cast a not-hot Professor Bhaer is these adaptations of the book. The book version of this guy is decidedly unsexy. Not that I'm complaining I just think it changes the tenor of their relationship.
Many ladies would contradict you on the not hot Professor Bhaer statement. Considering its Gabriel Byrne in this version😉
hotness is totally subjective. everyone has different ideas of what lights their candle
💜
Everyone was amazing. Wonderful film. I can't recall it much or the new version. I'd have to watch it again. He is too old though.
Best scence ever, Love it so much....❤️
One of the best endings ❤️
I love how this movie/book has an easily corrected misunderstanding that most other movies spend half their run time trying to solve
I still prefer this to the 2019 version.
Im sorry but the saliva when she backs out from the kiss, from their mouths. *: |* lol
I like this ending, so powerful than new version ...
